The Kite Runner

I forgot to blog earlier in the book, but as upsetting as the book is, it’s really good.  I was dissapointed that Amir didn’t help Hassan in the alley.  It’s difficult to imagine what you would do in his position.  We all hope we would do the right thing, but until you’re actually in that position, no one will ever know how they will react.  Is is possible that fear is evil?  Most of the time, fear is just a weakness that doesn’t have a huge impact on someones life, but in this case, Amir’s fear makes the reader feel like he is evil.
